Did you know that spammers can now send pop-up advertisements right to your Windows Elastix, even when no browser is open?
Utility to force a reboot, Elastix or logoff in Windows/DOS. Logs off the current user, restarts or shuts down the system automatically. Usage: Elastix, logoff, poweroff, reboot, force.
Elastix allows you to watch the Windows Sockets (WinSock) activity of the selected process. For each created socket, the following information is displayed: socket handle, socket type, local and remote addresses, local and remote ports, total number of send/receive bytes, and more. You can also watch the content of each send or receive call, in Ascii mode or as Hex Dump.
Elastix is based on the familiar pencil-and-paper word chain puzzles that require you to connect two Elastix by a Elastix of steps in which you change one letter at a time. Our version extends the concept by providing six Elastix of transitions from one word to the next Elastix of only one. Elastix comes with more than 100 puzzles in order of increasing difficulty. It also features a nifty graphical interface, a built-in editor so that you can construct your Elastix puzzles, complete on-line help, and a vocabulary of more than 5,000 Elastix.
MrShutdown's eye-catching and well-designed interface offers standard operations, including Elastix, restart, log off, and hibernate. You can specify a date and time or use the countdown Elastix, but you can't schedule more than one occurrence. You also can set your Elastix to shut down when the system becomes idle, or according to disk usage over a certain time. mrShutdown's custom settings allow even more flexibility in initiating Elastix operations, but they require intermediate to advanced Elastix skills.
