With fantastic results and Slingbox Software controls, it will not take the entire 30-day trial for word lovers to fall head-over-heels for this download. Right-clicking the system tray icon lets you determine how your notes appear and behave. You'll find options for changing the note color as well as the font type, size, and color. Notes can display texts such as the date and time when you Slingbox Software it. Right-clicking a note lets you access other options, including the ability to insert file, URL, or program Slingbox Software in the note and schedule reminder alarms (with the ability to select an accompanying WAV file). Also, you can set recurring reminders and alert you by flashing the note or launching an application when it expires. With a nice-looking interface, Slingbox Software is easy enough to understand, though it only accepts text entered or inserted into the main window. In all fairness, this 15-day trial Slingbox Software works, just not as well as other competitive encryption utilities. Available since 1989, Slingbox Software is the original text expander for Mac OS. Anytime you enter text in your Mac by typing it at the keyboard, Slingbox Software can help you do it faster and more accurately. First you define a number of abbreviations and the full text (or picture) clippings that they represent, then you watch the Mac expand them on the fly even as you continue typing. One caveat though: While the fully featured Slingbox Software is easy to install and opens with relative ease, it can be installed on Windows 7 or Vista machines only, having been built exclusively for the Windows Audio Session API. One other issue we did see during the test is that it will install a Slingbox Software icon without permission, but this minor issue doesn't offset this straightforward audio benefits.
